Ok I lied, I did do some extra writing on Wednesday But that’s a good thing right?

Short Term Resolutions:

• Finish a game by the end of January.
• Enter in the next Ludum Dare.
• Implement A* Pathfinding in something.
• Make a Core Wars Warrior.
• Review some Games

Long Term Resolutions:

• Make a rogue-like.
• IGF?!?!
• Post Consistently to the blog.
• PROFIT!?!?

I was going to list all the crap that happened this year that influenced me but I can’t remember much… SO Ima do yet another best of list.

Spelunky! Mainly because I play this all the time while passively doing something else (Eg, TV)

BEST AAA GAME(S):

I feel like a sellout but the game is actually Fracking awesome! The single player is phenomenal with high point after high point. Not to mention the awesome multiplayer.

Still coming back to TF 2 what with the awesome updates and unique gameplay.

Honourable mentions: Borderlands, Shadow Complex.

SPECIAL CATEGORY- FAVOURITE BEVARAGE:

After reading Garry’s recommendation for Windows Live Writer, I’ve decided to try it out.

It’s pretty good with support for a myriad of blogging software though there is a little hiccup with my WP theme. (Though you CAN edit themed editing)

On the other hand this is a good time to bring up WYSISWYG (What you see is what you get) editing. AND screen shots are easier than ever to grab. Print screen, Ctrl-V, Crop ALL within the live writer

Oh and there’s also this nifty preview tool (Though it doesn’t like WP’s image caption system) which is great since I always tend to edit posts several times after posting.

I’ll post more about my experience with WLW when I use it more, but you CAN expect a lot more posts :-p
